Is the Harrisburg Beach Club open year around?
Yes! We are thrilled to provide igloos and a heated tent in the winter which allows us to be open all year long. We have many seasonal activities and events planned. Stay tuned to social media for updates and announcements.
Is there a cover fee for the Harrisburg Beach Club?
No, entry to the Harrisburg Beach Club is free and we are open to the public
What are the operating hours for the Harrisburg Beach Club?
Harrisburg Beach Club is open Thursday & Friday 4pm to 10 pm and Saturday & Sunday from noon to 10pm. These hours will be subject to change at any time and are weather dependent

Do you take reservations for private parties?
We offer a few options for events depending on the size of your party and what day of the week you are planning. Please contact info@harrisburgbeachclub.com for additional details or fill out the form found on the event tab on this website.
Do you have live music?
Heck yeah! We have a broad selection of artists, see the latest schedule under upcoming events.
What about food?
We are excited to have the Harrisburg Beach Club food truck on-premise. The food truck is open during opening hours.
Can I bring my kids?
Of course! We encourage people to bring their kids. The Harrisburg Beach Club is fun for all ages.
Cool, you're kid-friendly, but what about dogs?
We love dogs and allow them at HBC, but ask that you please keep them on a leash at all times.
Where can I park? Does it cost money?
Parking is available at the main City Island entrance, located directly off of the Market Street Bridge. Parking is free, except during the Senator’s games; parking is $5.
Can I bring my own beverages?
No. Outside alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Can I smoke?
There is strictly no smoking anywhere on the property.
Any age restrictions?
Within our parameters, if you are under the age of 21, you must be with a parent or legal guardian. This is required by Pennsylvania law.
What vendors will be at HBC?
Harrisburg Beach Club will be featuring Hidden Still spirits along with other Pennsylvania Beers and Wines.

Was the City Island Bath House restored using public money?
The City Island Bath House has been abandoned for two decades. The current extensive restoration of the property was completed using private funds with no added cost to taxpayers. We are hopeful other individuals bring their business ideas to the island, and we are here to help with any advice to any member of the community on the process!
What is being done to help clean up the Susquehanna River?
The Susquehanna River is one of Harrisburg's greatest assets. The Harrisburg Beach Club hopes to be another voice asking for action to protect and clean the river. Through education and hosting conversations, we are going to be a daily reminder of how important it is we talk about and force change.

How much are the reservations?
Igloo reservations are $30 for 2 hours
How do we check in for our Igloo reservation?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled reservation time and check in with an HBC Employee at the main bar area. They will show you to your reserved igloo location.
What happens if our party shows up late?
If your party shows up late for your reservation, we cannot extend the length of your rental, refunds of any kind will not be issued for late arrivals.
How many people can fit in each igloo?
Each igloo seats up to 8 guests.
Is there a minimum age limit for the igloos?
You must be 18 years or older to make a reservation. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Is smoking allowed in the igloos?
No, guests found smoking or vaping in the igloos will be asked to leave immediately.
Are the igloos heated?
They are “heated,” but you are still outside! Each igloo includes a small heater that will take the edge off the chill, but please come dressed for a winter activity.
Will the igloos ever close for inclement weather?
In the case of extreme cold, blizzards, or dangerous icy conditions, we may need to cancel reservations to ensure safety and your comfort level. Guests with reservations will be notified via email about rescheduling their booking.
Are pets allowed in the igloos?
Small dogs, less than 15 lbs, are allowed in the igloos, but we ask that you keep them on a leash.
What happens if we damage the igloo?
We ask that you take precautions when moving around in the igloos and refrain from touching the walls or grabbing the frame. The igloos are inspected and cleaned after every party, and a fee may be added should any evidence of damage or stolen items be noticed after your visit.
Can I bring outside food?
At this time we are not allowing guests to bring outside food. We have a food truck onsite. We do allow cupcakes if you are having a celebration.
Will there be servers that we can order food and drinks from?
We do not have servers. Our bartenders will stop by periodically to see if you need anything unless they are busy at the bar.

Is it possible to cancel my reservation?
Yes, you may cancel your reservation through your account, reservation email, or by emailing info@harrisburgbeachclub.com. Please make sure to include the name and date/time of the reservation you want to cancel in your request. No shows will result in full payment.
Can I change my reservation date and/or time?
Yes, if we have additional booking slots open, you may change your reservation using your reservation app login or by emailing us at info@harrisburgbeachclub.com.

How much are the reservations, and what is included in the price?
Curling lanes are $40 per hour for weekends. This price includes a dedicated lounge space with a firepit that accommodates up to eight people.
What is curling?
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of “ice” toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles.
How do I check-in for my reservation?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled reservation time and check in with an HBC employee at the main bar. The staff will collect the ID of the person who made the reservation for the duration of the reservation and return it once the lane and curling stones are inspected.
Do we need to bring our own curling equipment?
All curling equipment will be provided by Harrisburg Beach Club
How long are the curling lanes reserved for?
Each reservation is for 50 minutes of curling lane playing time. Please show up 10 minutes prior to your reserved time and allow 5 minutes at the beginning and end for set-up and clean-up.
What happens if our party shows up late?
